Stopped here for a quick bite to eat on my way to the Beaney and I have to say what a lovely family bakery this is, they still use Mr Barrows original recipe for the bread.

This bakery is a little gem. I'm so glad I've found this branch in Canterbury as their original Sittingbourne store is a firm favourite of mine. Well worth a visit in this historic city!

My Grandmother Mrs J D Reynolds worked here after her dad who created it passed away. She retired in 2009 and since then my Dad has run the shop. I've fond memories of baking cakes here.
